The property is close to the road network, and combines the tranquility of a rural setting with handy access to the city of Cartagena and the local beaches. The house has been renovated to a very high standard, and offers spacious family accommodation for holidays or a slightly longer stay in the area, perhaps whilst househunting. The finca has a large kitchen, which is fully equipped with white foods and all the appliances needed for self catering, and this leads on through an archway to a dining area with large dining table and seating for 6 people. There is a gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. The dining area leads on to the light and spacious lounge,which has a traditional beamed ceiling and wooden shutters. There is plenty of seating, Sat TV and DVD. There are ceiling fans to gently circulate the air and cool you from the heat of the Spanish summer. However, the house makes an ideal year round rental, as there is a log burning stove in the living area, which heats the open plan space effectively. A corridor leads off the kitchen to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a single room, and 2 double rooms, allowing the villa to sleep 5 in comfort. However there is plenty of space at the villa for supplementary beds if required. The bathrooms have huge walk in feature stone shower cubicles, and again have been renovated to a very high standard. Externally, the finca has large grounds, with plenty of space for children to play, plus a sand area for playing boules! The swimming pool will be completed by Easter 2012, and the surrounding terraces mean that there is ample space for sunbathing. The large rear terrace of the house offers the ideal place to dine in the shade when the heat becomes a little too much! The garden has views over the hillside and the proximity to the new road network means that Cartagena, Mazarrón and the beaches are all easily accessible. Cartagena has shops, bars, restaurants, museums, marina and more, whilst the nearby villages provide all the amenities needed on a day to day basis. Puerto de Mazarrón, with blue flag beaches and small marina, is just a 10 minute drive over the mountain. Longer lets welcome, please ask for prices.
