Description: This stunning fully renovated country house is offered for mid to long term rental from mid September 2011. The property has been furnished and fitted out to an extremely high standard, and offers comfortable accommodation in a peaceful yet accessible rural location.
Set close to the village of Tallante, and only 20 minutes from the bustling city of Cartagena, this large family home sits in a plot of around 1200 square metres, with a large swimming pool and terraced gardens. The living accommodation is as follows:
large open plan living and dining room, with SAT TV ( monthly fee applies), log burner, ceiling fans and comfortable leather sofas. The kitchen is fully fitted with all white goods including washing machine and fridge freezer. There is a large wooden dining table with seating for 4 people, and everything you need for a longer term stay is here at your disposal!
There is a large hall off the living area, which the owner has used as office space. The villa has a telephone line and therefore re-connection to phone and internet is possible. Along the hall are the 3 large bedrooms. The master suite has plenty of storage space in the fitted wardrobes, and an en-suite bathroom.
There is a second large double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and also a modern shower room with walk in shower.
The outside areas of the villa are what make this property a dream home for Spanish living! There is a large 9m by 4m pool, with outdoor fridge and bar area set up at one end under the shady terrace, and plenty of terracing around the pool for lounging in the sun.
Step down off the main pool area, and you are greeted by a patio set placed in the sun trap at the bottom of the garden, surrounded by native, colourful plants. This leads on to a further large patio at the back of the house. However as the nights draw in and the insects appear, you can take refuge in the fully enclosed gazebo. This has zipped fly screens, ensuring that if you want to sit out in the day or at night, you are fully protected from both the sun and any annoying things, children excepted!
At the side of the property is an annexe, which is almost complete. This means that the house could potentially have a teen or granny annexe attached with 1 bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and it΄s own independent access and services. At the corner of the annexe is a traditional Spanish stone BBQ.
Finally, there is a covered terrace to the front of the house, with conservatory suite and a gas patio heater. There is also off road parking for several cars.
This home is ideally placed to discover all that Murcia has to offer. The village of Tallante has a bar and restaurant, whilst a 15 minute drive will take you into Isla Plana where there are more facilities, shops, bars and of course the beach! For culture lovers, the city of Cartagena has a castle, Roman ruins, museums, boat trips and a large retail park, plus a huge selection of shops and tourist attractions.
