Description: This is a larger than usual end apartment on the popular golf resort of Condado de Alhama, close to the town of Alhama de Murcia and the proposed Paramount theme park in the Murcia region.
This comfortable apartment is an upper 2 bed located in the "Jardines de Alhama" and the accommodation comprises an open plan living and dining area, leading on to a galley kitchen. The living area is comfortably furnished, with sofa and armchair, cable TV (providing channels in a wide variety of languages) and UK satellite TV. The compact kitchen is well equipped and has all the white goods and appliances needed for either a self catering break or a longer term rental, including fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The bedrooms are nicely furnished, with the smaller room having twin beds and the larger a double bed. both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it.
The apartment makes an ideal year round rental, with oil radiators for the cooler months, and the homely touches mean that this flat is suitable for comfortable longer stays.
The apartment is both child and pet friendly, as there are wooden gates at the top and bottom of all stairs, meaning that Junior can´t take a tumble and Fido can´t escape! Pets are allowed, with owners prior permission and subject to an additional cleaning fee.
The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the communal pool, but the end location offers a little more peace and privacy, as well as stunning views from the upper solarium over to the golf course and the mountains beyond. The solarium terrace has a dining set, loungers and a traditional stone BBQ for eating outside, and makes an ideal place to laze away the days in the sun.
The golf course is coming along nicely, and buggies, trolleys and clubs are available to hire at the pro-shop, whilst the open driving range and practice putting green offer the ideal place to perfect those tricky shots. Condado de Alhama resort opened this Jack Nicklaus designed course in 2010, and the course is in great condition.The course is 6059 yards long and a par 72. Fees start at 65 euros for 18 holes, although the twilight fee of only 35 euros makes this course an unbeatable option. Buggy and club hire available. Lessons from 30 euros. The resort has safe cycleways around, and is ideal for young families, due to the secure gated complex and on-site amenities. There is bike hire on the resort for very reasonable rates.
The apartment provides an ideal base to explore the Mazarrón area, and is located around 20 minutes from the beach . The beautiful Sierra Espuña nature reserve is a short drive away, with walking trails, quad biking and cycleways. The bright lights of Murcia city and the retail park at Nueva Condomina are around 30 minutes drive away. A perfect base to rent for a family holiday. And if you have friends in the area, the resort is only 5 minutes drive from the large Camposol urbanisation, or 10 minutes from the Mazarrón Country Club.
