Description: Casa Molina is a tastefully renovated cortijo available to rent in the countryside close to the traditional Spanish town of Librilla.
Although set in a peaceful and tranquil location, the villa is just 5 - 10 minutes drive from the nearest amenities , and only around 25 minutes drive from the shopping centres near Murcia.
The 3 bedroom villa sleeps 5 people, although an additional sofa bed in the living room means that the villa can accommodate 6 in comfort. There is a double master bedroom,a twin bedroom and a third bedroom which can serve as either a double or be split into twin beds.
There is a large bathroom, and a further shower room is located outside the property.
The bright and airy kitchen is fully fitted with white goods, and leads onto the rear terrace and seating area.
The open plan living / dining area is spacious and retains much of the character of the original cortijo. The large dining table seats 6. There is a TV and DVD for the guests to use, along with a selection of movies.
The property has air conditioning in the master bedroom, plus portable units to use throughout the villa. For the cooler weather, there are heaters and a gas heater, plus the log burner in the living room.
Dining outside at Casa Molina is a pleasure, with a portable gas BBQ and ample terraces and seating around the pool. The front terrace has a patio set and the there is further seating on the sheltered rear terrace. The pool is 8m by 4m and surrounded by mature gardens with stunning views over the countryside and almond groves.
The nearest town is Librilla, with bars and pizzerias, supermarkets, a pharmacy and a weekly market. The property makes an ideal base for exploring the whole of the region of Murcia, as it is close to the beautiful Sierra Espuñas and only around 45 minutes from the beaches and marinas of Cartagena and Puerto Mazarrón. The large Camposol urbanisation is around 20 minutes away.
