  • What is the Quality Seal of Approval?

The quality seal is awarded to properties where OwnersAway are the sole company responsible for the cleaning, management & maintenance of the rental unit. This means that we can guarantee the property meets our high standards for rental clients.

  • How do you award the Seal?

The owner ofthe property will apply for a Seal and our staff will audit the propertywith a checklist and score against key criteria.If the property meets our requirements for guestscomfort & safety, and in addition will beregularly maintained and serviced by our team, then the Seal is awarded.

  • What does this mean for the holiday client?

Your property will have been cleaned and prepared by OwnersAway staff. In theevent of any problems or complaints, ourResort Reps and staff are on hand to quickly put everything right for you. The property you rent will meet our minimum standards for cleanliness, comfort, safety, standard of fixtures and fittings and the owner will keep the property maintained on one of our Annual Management packages, making sure it is always in "Ready to Rent" condition as we are in full control of the services provided.

  • What does it mean if the property I choose to rent does NOT have the Quality Seal?

This simply means that the owner may use other companies, friends, neighbours or independent workers to clean and service or maintain the property and that OwnersAway cannot be held liable for any service failures or differing work standards of other companies or individuals.Properties without the Seal of Approval rent successfully & without problems each year to the majority of our clients, but we cannot offer the same Quality Guarantee as the provision of services in not completely under our control.

  • What happens if there is a problem whilst Im staying at my property?

This depends on the nature of the problem. If you have booked and paid for your holiday home as an OwnersAway client, then our Reps will be available for the duration of your stay to help with any day to day issues that arise, regardless of whether your property has the Seal or not.

Some service failures, such as localised power / water cuts are beyond our control, but if you have booked your property directly withOwnersAway, we will always work with you to ensure that we try to resolve any problems that arise so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday on the Costa Calida
